Corrections are the most useful thing you can send us. If an error code, a component description or a diagnostic step on this site is wrong, tell us and we will fix it — and say that we did.
One person reads this, so replies are not instant. Corrections get looked at first.
When you write about a specific appliance
Include the model number — it is on a label inside the door opening on most appliances. Almost every question about a code or a part depends on it, and without it the honest answer is usually "it depends on your model."
What we cannot do
We cannot diagnose your appliance individually, and we will not guess at one over email. We do not sell parts, we do not carry out repairs, and we do not refer you to anyone who does.
If a fault has reached the point where it needs a licensed technician — a sealed refrigerant system, a gas connection, or anything you are not confident working on safely — that is the answer, and it is the same one we would give in an article.
Business
Advertising, licensing and other enquiries go to the same address. We do not accept paid placements, sponsored posts, or links in exchange for payment. See our editorial policy for why.
The Fix Bench is an independent publication and is not affiliated with any appliance manufacturer.
